Tuesday night I had my regular monthly massage with Linda. It was absolutely decadent and I felt wonderful afterward. She is the best masseur I have ever been to and she was one of the trainers at the introductory massage course I completed last year. I would like to recommend the Australian College of Massage courses to you all. This isn’t a paid ad or anything, I just feel very strongly that massage is a positive thing and want to share my experience of it. These courses are starting soon all around Australia, in different venues. They are professional and you will learn what you need to begin massaging straight away.
If you want to be a professional masseur, they have an extensive and accredited course that you could pursue, the introductory course I have found to be sufficient for my needs. If I didn’t love my job as a teacher, I would be pursuing the entire course as I believe it would be a wonderful profession and very flexible.
Since completing my course I have given massages to my children, my parents and Andy when he visited. It was a beautiful way for me to express the love I have for these people in a real and tangible way. I have been massaging all the above for years, but now I can do it purposely and properly. It takes less out of me and I can sustain it longer, because I have learnt techniques about my own physical posture to improve the experience. Just do it. It improves circulation, reduces stress and feels good.
