Chocolate Overload

My friend who works at the Cadbury factory was visiting last week. He brought us a huge bag of chocolates. I mean huge! 5 kilograms or something. I’m very concerned that it is going to translate into me carrying an extra 5 kilograms!! It’s just lying around everywhere. I keep offering it to people who visit – ‘Have a chocolate or 10′, but they just won’t eat enough.

I gave some to one of my classes the other day. It was quite funny. I just walked around the room giving every kid a peice of chocolate, after checking first there were no allergies etc. Only one kid didn’t want any. They all asked what they had done to deserve it – to which I replied honestly – nothing. I have a surplus. You are like my garbage disposals. It didn’t bother them. I don’t reward/blackmail students with food if I can help it. I have done it before, but it sets up a precedent that I can’t keep up with. Education is it’s own reward!

I am nearly at the stage where I am sick of it to be honest. It’s been a very busy Monday, but chocolate isn’t the answer!!

I like how you gave them chocolate, but didn’t use it as a reward.

    I like your honesty : )

Joh! *gasp* Chocolate mightn’t be the answer but it helps the brain find the right answer after several (hundred) mouthfuls ;)

Me too with the chocolate! I only have 2kgs to deal with though. My friend gave me some as she works for the police force and they have the chance to get into Cadbury factory in Melbourne.
