My Spare Room

These are the before and after shots of my spare bedroom. I am really pleased with how it’s come up.BeforeI am happy with the transformation of this room. I would still like to paint the wood and I may get around to it one day in the future. For now though I am happy with the paint and window coverings.

It’s all ready for my potential visitors. If they ever turn up! I was expecting them last night but plans were changed. I am looking forward to having them and even if they don’t stay, I’m grateful that they’ve motivated me to finish this room. window.jpg

My good friend Wilma made this Roman Blind for me which is perfect for the window. It lets in the light during the day and provides the insulation and privacy (although upstairs that’s not so much of an issue) that I want in the room. It was freezing last night. My reverse cycle heating stopped as it does when it’s too cold outside so I had to use the wood fire. This room stayed heaps warmer than usual.  Spare room
