I had my laptop for 3 days and now it’s back getting fixed again. Obviously 10 days absence was not enough for me! When does Mercury Retrograde finish? Anyway, as I said a couple of posts ago, I won’t be blogging much! I think I will get a Toshiba next time. This Acer has been a dud!

The good news is that I’ve been highly motivated this dark moon. Have really set the shedding of junk wheels in motion. I feel much more energetic than I have for the last few dark moons and that’s great. It has possibly helped having the darkest parts on the weekend. Sometimes I think my tiredness leading up to the new moon is a rush to complete things and running out of time.
Mercury retrograde type happenings are around though, and I wasn’t expecting to feel a thing! My laptop has a power issue. I’ve tried different chargers so I don’t believe that’s the problem, so, off to the computer doctor tomorrow. Luckily the people from the local IT shop are regular customers so I’m sure they will help as best they can. I could write a whole post about the frustrations and inconveniences that not having my own laptop has produced for me this weekend, but I have chosen instead to be grateful that Darin is so generous with his and that I couldn’t do all that bookwork I was meant to do, which gave me more time to read and enjoy the company of the kids. I have also started a massive project in my wardrobe.
So…. this full moon… Aries is the start of the zodiac. So it’s kind of like a new years start. It could be a really powerful time to set new intentions and start new things. We are starting breakfasts at ‘The Butchers Dog’ tomorrow. I’m glad daylight’s savings ended last night because the early morning will feel ‘not as early’ for a little while anyway. There are lots of reasons we think this time of the day will work better for us. Pesonally I’m looking forward to having breakfast earlier in the day to get my metabolism happening again. I have been neglecting breakfast lately and having lunch. I know this doesn’t work, but sometimes it’s a time thing. Interestingly, neither of us are morning people. Curious to see how it goes? I’ll let you know;-).

I usually comment on the moon, but Mercury Retrogrades, whilst they occur several times of the year, I’m kind of hit and miss about. I find many articles I read about this time are negative, and I’m reluctant to plant reasons for others to feel pessimistic. Having said all that, I thought that Mercury Retrograde had started today. I had a meeting and there had been a fire drill at the organisation, just as I arrived. It made the people I was meeting half an hour late. My days are so busy right now that it was a difficult half hour for me sitting, waiting, with nothing to do. Mystic Medusa:Mercury Out of the Shadowzone explains about the far reaching “shadowzone” and whilst Mercury doesn’t go retro in Australia until 7.30ish tomorrow, it’s possible I experienced it this afternoon!
My natal Mercury is retrograde and I have honestly experienced some great times during this Mercury phase so I’m not negative about them. In fact there was a time in my life that I actually looked forward to them because without fail, something I enjoyed that was intermittent always returned. I am interested to see what this one will bring.

I have been trying for the past couple of days to book a flight for Tom home from Hamilton Island with Jetstar. After shopping around the websites for the best match (direct, $$$, times), I found their flights to be a perfect fit. I just can’t get past the passenger details page. It’s very annoying. I’ve even sent a customer service email… still not working.
The astrologers are mentioning an impending Mercury retrograde and recommending computer backups and so forth. Perhaps this is the first sign for me.
