Full Moon in Pisces – Monday 12th September 2011

My natal moon is in Pisces, but it wasn’t full… just a quarter:) To give some idea of the range of Pisces, check out this link to Mystic Medusa’s fabulous Hi-Low series for Pisces.

There seem to be less crazies about than most Full Moons – i think it’s because the Zap Zone of June to August was SO intense, even the people who want to go ape can’t be bothered.

My weekend was good. The macarons were yummy, but looked nothing like they should. The nougat was a complete failure… way too runny. I need to use the thermometer next time. Asha’s party went well.

New Moon in Pisces – Saturday 5th March 2011

This Saturday morning will bring the Piscean New Moon. It’s such a lovely sign Pisces, creative, dreamy, prone to fantasy! I have quite a few people of this sign in my life and my natal moon is in Pisces. I have found myself quite lucky when the moon is in my sign each month. I wonder if it’s the same for everyone or whether I have just imagined it … so it is so!

These are my favourite articles about this moon:

New Moon Pisces – Reimagining the World – I love the phrase re-imagining the world. What a pleasant idea. The world could do with re-imagining right now, or perhaps I’m watching the news too much lately. I have been plonking myself in front of the TV a bit more than I usually do lately. That could be one of my goals for this new moon. I relate to what Molly Hall writes about being a bit vague and off in my head the last few days. I too have co-incidentally burnt bread in the oven a couple of times putting it in and then forgetting all about it at work.

Cathy Pagano’s Pisces New Moon is an extensive explanation. I also have Chiron and Saturn in Pisces, so I notice that Chiron is also currently there as well as quite a few others. When I get some time I will have to look into what that might mean. What I know about Chiron is that it’s the wounded healer and that the aspects to Chiron seem to be about healing, so I’ll have to see when it will be on the same degree and how that might manifest for me.

Appropriately perhaps we are watching ‘Air Guitar Nation’, what could be more fantasy? It’s fun.

Full Moon in Pisces – Wednesday 25th August 2010

Happy Birthday to my brother Tim for today.

At around 3am tomorrow morning the moon will be full in Pisces. My natal moon is in that sign so I wonder if there is any significance to that. Pisces represents dreams, intuition and all things fantasy-like, so I imagine that energy will prevail during this full moon.

Things have eased up astrologically and I read today that we are about to enjoy the lighter third of the year. I can’t say I’m sad to hear it, this year has been massive really. There have been so many changes. Most of the changes have been great but it’s been one of those years that I look back to this time last year and feel I am living on a different planet. I don’t expect that to ease actually because I have big plans for changes to my life, yet I feel I am making the changes in this instance not adjusting to a changing landscape if that makes any sense.

Pisces Full Moon : Do Nothing by Moonkssed is a restful read for this full moon. I am feeling this energy this week also. I have restarted my simple yoga practices and meditated this week and I am feeling it’s time to return to calmer and healthier ways of being. Tomorrow I am on a day retreat with the year 11′s and I’m really looking forward to that space, even if this is the first moment I’ve had today to think about the retreat side of it.
